The Firm's AI in Practice Summit is back on Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 November 2026. Two days, twelve sessions, one track, and it is free. Day one is what firms actually built and used in 2026, what it cost and what it returned. Day two is what to plan for in 2027: pricing, hiring, the tools worth your time, and who is responsible when AI gets it wrong. Every session is recorded, and a CPD certificate is emailed after the event.

The first summit ran in June with 17 sessions and 21 speakers, drew 1,850 registrations, and every session is still online to watch for free with a summary and full transcript. November picks up where June left off, with a year of numbers behind it. Here is the format, who it suits, how to register, and how to pitch a session or get in front of the room as a sponsor.

What is different this time

June was a starting point. Most of the room was working out where to begin, and the sessions were built for that: first tools, first workflows, the confidence to take a small step. The recap, Start where you are, still holds up if you are at that stage.

November assumes you started. The brief for every speaker is the same: what you built, shipped or started using and when, the hours or dollars it saved, measured rather than guessed, one thing that did not work, and what you would do differently. Projections and product tours do not make the lineup. A live screen share of real work does.

It is also a single track. There is nothing to choose between and nothing to miss, and it means a sponsor reaches everyone in the room rather than a slice of it.

Day one: what worked in 2026

Firms and tech partners showing what they actually shipped this year and what it was worth. What got built, what it cost, and the hours it gave back. Including what got tried and dropped, which is often the more useful half.

Six sessions: a 60-minute keynote to open, then 45 minutes each, with about 35 minutes of talking and 10 of questions.

Day two: what to plan for in 2027

Where pricing, hiring, tools and responsibility are heading, and what to do about it. Agents, what the software you already pay for is shipping next, how to price and package work that now takes a fraction of the time, and who carries the liability when an AI output is wrong. The day finishes with a plan for your first 90 days of the year.

Six sessions: two 60-minute keynotes, with 45-minute sessions in between.

Who should register, and who should not

If you run or work in a firm and you have used AI for anything real this year, even one small workflow, this is built for you. The value is in hearing what other firms measured, not in being told AI is coming. The mix of practitioners and the people building the software they run on means you get both the firm's result and the roadmap behind it.

If you are looking for a vendor showcase, a product comparison or a general practice conference with an AI track bolted on, this is not that. There is one track, the speakers are asked for evidence, and there are no exhibition halls to walk.

What you will walk away with

  • Real numbers from firms who have actually done it, not projections.
  • A look at what the tools you already pay for are shipping next.
  • The tools and workflows that got dropped this year, and why.
  • What AI output held up under review, and what came back.
  • How to price and package work that now takes a fraction of the time.
  • A clear plan for your first 90 days of 2027.

June is still online, and it is the standard November is booked to

The speaker lineup for November is being confirmed now, so rather than publish a provisional agenda that would need quiet edits, the landing page shows the shape of the two days and points at June's full programme as the worked example. All 17 June sessions are free to watch at thefirm.media/summit, each with a written summary, the key points and a full transcript. You can read one in five minutes or watch the whole thing. No signup, no paywall.

Register for November and you will be emailed each session as it is confirmed, along with the joining link the week before.

Want to speak?

Two kinds of session make the lineup: a firm showing what it built or adopted and what came of it, and a tech partner showing what they have shipped for the profession and where it is heading. You do not need to be a polished speaker. You need to have done the thing, and be willing to bring the detail, including the part that did not work.

Sessions are 45 minutes, keynotes are 60. Slides are optional and screen shares are very welcome. Pitches go through the form on the summit page, take about five minutes, and every one gets a reply either way.

Sponsoring

The summit is powered by Vinyl, and XU Magazine, AccrediWise and Sterling are already on board. There are four tiers and thirteen slots in total, one tier per company, and because there is one track every sponsor reaches the whole audience. June drew 1,850 registrations, and the target for November is 2,000. All tiers close on 14 September 2026, with slots allocated in order of confirmation. The prospectus and the terms every sponsor agrees to are at thefirm.media/summit/november-2026/sponsor.

Register

Registration takes 30 seconds and asks for a name and an email address, nothing else. You get the lineup as it is confirmed, the recordings whether or not you make it on the day, and your CPD certificate afterwards. Register free for the AI in Practice Summit, 11 and 12 November 2026.
